Maxi Must

So, if you know me, you know i am not the biggest fan of maxi dresses. It’s not because they aren’t cute or flattering, but for me personally, i can’t wear them. I do admire them from afar and i love a person who knows how to “rock” a maxi. Knowing that maxi dresses are still a huge Spring and Summer trend, i bit the bullet and ordered a few styles for the store. I love the styles i ordered and i can say that they have looked great on everyone who has tried them on. If you are like me and not quite ready to take the plunge by wearing a full maxi, the color-block mid calf maxi is the ideal alternative. It’s long enough to be considered a maxi but short enough that you can walk easily with flats or heels. Plus, the melon, pink and teal colors look awesome together. The royal blue pleated maxi is more sassy than most because the back is so intriguing with its lower back-line. If you love bright colors and prints i have shown a paisley v neck maxi with a ruby pendant at the bust line. So here’s to the warm weather trend. Anyone can do it, you just need to find the right one for you

Tangerine Tango

Pantone releases a color of the year in January and low and behold its Tangerine Tango for 2012. Pantone describes Tangerine Tango as “a spirited reddish orange, continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.”

I think this is a great color to take us from Spring and into next Fall. Designers and customers alike have taken to orange and it will be seen everywhere. Now, i know that a lot of you Alabama fans feels its treacherous territory to wear orange but fear not, you are not forsaking your school by wearing Tangerine Tango. If it will put you at ease it is a reddish orange and not an Auburn shade. It’s fashion and if a color looks complimentary with your skin tone, you should wear it and look good!

Steal of the Week September 12- September 17

This week’s steal is a peach cotton double layer top with scattered bows. Its precious and i think everyone should have this top. It’s a great color for the Fall and even in the Spring. Wear with khaki pants, faded blue jeans, or even black cigarette pants. Gold shoes would be complimentary with it. Originally $74 its only $51 this week!!!!!!

The sleeves can snapped up for a more casual look. wear it with a pair of jeans of a khaki pencil skirt for a more sophisticated look. The Henry short by Eva Franco is our steal of the week. Originally $153, now only $100 for the remainder of the week. I love these shorts and actually wore them on Saturday. They are cream and black polka dots shorts with a black sash at the waist. You can wear them now or into the fall with a heavier fabric top. Right now you can pair them with a basic tee and sandals. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Hurry in to get your size at the great price

Long Awaited Steal of the Week July 4- July 15

So, i know it has been entirely too long since we last had a Steal of the Week. Thanks for being patient with us, but things have been crazy. We started our Semi Annual Sale two weeks ago, so while we had that going on, we continued the Amour Vert shorts as the steal along with our ENTIRE STORE being discounted. Now that things are getting back to normal ( we still have half the store on sale plus brand new things too), you deserve a steal.

For the next week and a half, this Analili racer-back zigzag print dress will be $121 instead of $173. If we sell out before the end of next week, i will pick a new one. We can’t wait to see you here
